Open REALLY late (3:30a-ish) Good Mexican food at VERY reasonable prices. Try the carne asada wet burrito, ceviche tostada or the pancakes with scrambled eggs.

On the more expensive side, but not prohibitive. The gazpacho is worth every last penny. So are the chocolate croissants. And the tartines are magnificent.

1851 Indian Hill BoulevardUm...this is the closest one. What more do you want to know? It is In-n-Out.
Very reasonably (borderline cheap) Thai food. The place is always super busy, call ahead and get your order to go or wait and get a table. (Wait times have been as long as 90minutes!)

Los Angeles restaurant. 5-star reviews on Yelp. Get ready for a surprise though... it is in a crappy strip mall next to the 101fwy. You'll love the fake flowers and plastic table coverings. The place hasn't been remodeled since maybe the early 1980's. It is a two-person show - the woman who runs it and the one in the back who cooks. Seat yourself and you'll get menus along with People Magazine and other tabloids. If it is busy (they do a lot of take-out orders), get comfy and enjoy the magazines. It'll be awhile. Whatever you get is awesome, home-cooked food. If I had one meal left on Earth, Thai Pepper would be it. It is VERY VERY inexpensive, so please tip generously.

Dive. Dive. Dive. Shuffleboard. Darts. You can order delivery and eat it at the bar, they don't care. It's a real dive bar though. Not a trendy cool dive bar, which makes it really cool. Cheap drinks. Strong drinks.

This place gets super packed on the weekends. It's a dive bar, and slightly nicer than the Sand Bar.

Most of what you see in my house came from this store. Most of my clothing, and ALL of my shoes. Oh, and my Prada purse. If I need something, I go here first. It is the closest store and often has nothing that I'm looking for but everything I never thought I needed.

Literally a block away. This is the closest laundromat. Last load is at 8:15p. However, the machines are VERY VERY ancient. They work but when possible I go to a different laundromat.
