Mosaic is an ancient art form that immortalized both everyday and mythological scenes from the Roman Empire. For over 200 years, the Cassio family of mosaicists has kept this tradition. You are invited to our historic studio in the lively Monti neighborhood where we will share ancient secrets about the craft that you can apply to your own work of art. Surrounded by original tools, sketches by famous Italian artists, and important mosaic masterpieces, you will learn about distinctly Roman techniques. During this course, you will create your own unique piece of art — utilizing the principles of texture, composition, and marble tile cutting in the process. A master mosaicist will guide you based on ancient Roman mosaic rules and methods. You will leave the workshop with a one-of-a-kind, 7 by 5 inch masterpiece to commemorate your time in the Eternal City. Please note, this workshop requires handling various tools. For safety reasons, we recommend this experience to those over the age of 12.

Truffle experience Rome

We'll have a day trip through the woods in the mountain South-East of Rome, hunting truffles with the help of trained dogs, we will pass through areas rich in history of outstanding natural beauty. After the trip we will go to have lunch at my place, we will learn how to cook truffles dishes and we'll eat them for lunch with a very good wine. I will cook for you many different courses, all with fresh truffles! You will can taste many different combinations with fresh truffles. Other things to note: Depending by the period the truffle hunt takes place in different locations and the drive to the forest after the pick up can take between 20 to 50 minutes. The truffle hunting takes place on a mountain terrain, so be prepared to it, hiking shoes are recommended. This experience is also perfect for teams and team-building.

Handmade Pasta Class in Pantheon

I will teach you how to make the real Italian pasta from scratch. We will make two italian traditional pastas: ravioli and fettuccine. In addition to making homemade pasta we will prepare different sauces: Tomato and basil, Amatriciana, Gricia, Butter and sage. I live in a 17° century building 50 meters close to Piazza Campo dei Fiori. I'll wait for you there, in one of the most ancient square of Rome to tell you welcome to this traditional experience. We'll have a short speach in my penthouse (with a 360 view of the Roma roofs) to break the ice and talk about roman cuisine, then I'll show you ingredients we'll need. Then the cooking class can begin! You will become a perfect italian chef in only 3 hours. When we are finished we will cook, eat, and savour our pasta together. I’ll tell you all the secrets for the italian handmade pasta and some tipa to replicate easy at home. Other things to note: We don't have a gluten free option, sorry. Come along for an after-dark stroll to explore some of these tales of Rome. We begin in one of Rome's liveliest squares, now full of bars and restaurants. However, it was once a place of execution, and reminders of this still stand - hear the tale of Giordano Bruno, one of Italy's greatest minds who got on the wrong side of the Church. Then we stroll through the backstreets, arriving at one of the oldest bridges, which is haunted by one of Rome's most infamous characters. Strolling down a medieval street, we come to a unique church, home to a mysterious order of monks with a rather macabre task. From here, we reach the site of one of the world's most notorious historical prisons, then pass the tomb of the notorious Borgia Pope, before arriving at the home of an infamous poisoner. Soon, we reach Castel Sant'Angelo, where we talk about one of Rome's most famous executions, which the city's people didn't want - the Cenci family. Altogether, it's a fascinating alternative look at Roman history. It's an easy walk, lasting about 2 hours. We end close to some nice bars and restaurants. Art and symbols of Christianity made from Human Bones. You will see works by Caravaggio and Learn the intricacies of religious burial rights as we try to grasp that universal question. Next we will go 4 level underground of the Basilica of S. Clemente - a 12th century Basilica built on top of a 4th century Basilica, built on top of a 2nd century Temple of Mythros, On top of a 1st century Roman Apartment block. Starting with the 12th century Basilica we will learn about the relics of the 4th Pope. Continuing down to the 4th century Basilica where you will discover the early formation of the Christian Church and admire the frescoes and symbols within. Moving down to a 2nd century Mithra temple and see a 1st century Apartment Block with its fountain that has been running for over 2000 years.

Fotografiranje me navdaja z veseljem in užitkom ter prebudi strast do ustvarjanja novih trenutkov. Fotografije urejam zelo naravno, da ne izgubim prave svetlobe in jaslic. Poleg teh pomagam pri poziranju in sprostitvi, da dobim čudovite fotografije. Obiskoval sem 2 mednarodna tečaja o fotografiji in se pridružil številnim seminarjem. Poleg tega sem bil nagrajen z 1. mestom na lokalnem tekmovanju "Portretna fotografija", ki je potekalo leta 2018, in z 2. mestom na natečaju "Migracijska fotografija" leta 2019, Baku. Moja 11-letna praksa komuniciranja z tudi ljudje mi pomagajo ustvariti toplo in veselo vzdušje. Na splošno je tudi razpoloženje gostov pomembno in vpliva na vsako podrobnost med fotografiranjem. Zadovoljstvo gostov je zame najpomembnejši dejavnik pri mojem delu, zato vedno dobim lepe in tople ocene svojih strank.
